Job Description:
Robert Half Technology is looking for a Network Engineer who is deeply passionate about networking hardware and software. Are you a self-starter with a thorough knowledge of interfacing, Internet protocols, security, server, and network infrastructure? Then we cannot wait to hear from you about this Network Engineer role. This long-term temporary-to-full-time Network Engineer position is located in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a secure transfer of data to a variety of locations via internal and external networks
- Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers
- Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks by using traditional and creative methods
- Establish and operate network test facilities
- Collaborate closely with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on implementing, optimizing, and consistently managing of networks
Requirements
- Well versed in network design and implementation strategies
- 5+ years networking experience
- Well-founded grasp of Aruba
- Quality experience with network design
- Cisco Networking experience preferred
- Cisco Routers experience highly desired
- Practical knowledge of VoIP
- Solid understanding of Palo Alto Firewall
- Wide ranging experience with Network Troubleshooting
- General familiarity with Aruba Wireless
- Cisco Firewall experience
- Proven knowledge of Cisco Technologies
- Proficiency in Cisco Hardware
