Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

  • Lead end-to-end requirements discovery through workshops and stakeholder discussions with Product Owners and business teams
  • Translate business needs into clear, detailed epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases aligned with Agile/Scrum practices
  • Analyze and document As-Is and To-Be processes, functional flows, and impact assessments for digital experience initiatives

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and AEM delivery teams, including Architecture, Development, QA, UI, and DevOps
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Program/Project Managers to align scope, priorities, dependencies, and release plans
  • Work closely with developers during story grooming to clarify requirements, manage edge cases, and ensure development readiness

AEM Functional Expertise

  • Define AEM-specific functional requirements across:
    • AEM Sites
    • Components & Templates
    • Editable Templates
    • Content Fragments & Experience Fragments
    • Multi-Site Manager (MSM)
    • Workflows
  • Provide functional inputs into AEM architecture concepts such as author/publish separation, dispatcher caching, and CDN behavior
  • Partner with AEM Architects to ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with business needs

Non-Functional & Integration Requirements

  • Document and validate non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, security, accessibility, SEO, and availability
  • Support and validate integration requirements between AEM and external systems such as DAM, Analytics, Personalization tools, and third-party APIs

Testing, Delivery & Enablement

  • Review and validate implemented features through functional testing, UAT support, and defect triage
  • Coordinate with QA teams to develop test scenarios and ensure coverage of both functional and non-functional objectives
  • Support content migration planning and validation for new AEM implementations or platform upgrades
  • Facilitate sprint demos, walkthroughs, Definition of Ready (DoR), and sign-offs for completed features and releases
  • Support author training, enablement materials, and best-practice documentation for business and content teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst supporting AEM-based digital platforms
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical documentation
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale enterprise AEM implementations or upgrades
  • Knowledge of content migration strategies and tooling
  • Familiarity with digital analytics, personalization, and SEO best practices
