7/28/17 UPDATE: As of today, we have received 80% of our expected returned petitions back in the mail. USCIS announced last week that they had completed the mailing of the petitions that were not selected in the lottery and that the remaining ones should be received by July 31st. I am doubtful that we’ll get the remaining ones back by the 31st so we’ll be contacting USCIS “for assistance” next week per their instructions.
7/10/17 UPDATE: As of today, we have received 77% of our expected returned petitions back in the mail.
7/5/17 UPDATE: As of today, we have received 65% of our expected returned petitions back in the mail.
6/28/17 UPDATE: As of today, we have received 34% of our expected returned petitions back in the mail.
6/26/17 UPDATE: As of today, we have received 27% of our expected returned petitions back in the mail.
6/19/17 UPDATE: As of today, we have received about 7% of our expected returned petitions back in the mail.
6/16/17 UPDATE: As of today, we have received about 4% of our expected returned petitions back in the mail.
6/15/17: Today’s the day. We have received the first shipment of H-1B petitions that were returned after not being selected in the FY 2018 lottery.
This is just the beginning, we received just a few from both service centers today. We are expecting many, many more over the next week or two. The stamped date on the notices we received today are from June 9, and 13th. Here are pictures of the notices sent by each Service Center so you will know what to expect.

Petitions have a Reject Case # at the top. Vermont cases start with VRN and California cases start with CRN. I’ll post updates as we receive more over the next two weeks.
The waiting will soon be over for those of you who did not hear anything yet.
