Job Description: 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, and customization of all Mulesoft environments
  • Serve as technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust integration solutions on the Mulesoft platform
  • Take a lead role in architectural design and review of our Mulesoft implementation
  • Build a deep understanding of business processes and principles to ensure a proper Solutions Architecture is envisaged and implemented
  • Serve as the SME for Mulesoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave, Orchestration, ActiveMQ, Pub/Sub modules, etc.,
  • Mentor others in Mulesoft development technologies, tools and processes
  • Provide level three technical support for the Integration platform
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Mulesoft API development required
  • 5-7 years of Solution Architecture and Integration Development experience is preferred
  • Solid understanding of API Design using RAML or Swagger
  • Experience with the 3-layered approach to API-led connectivity with Experience, Process, and System APIs
  • Experience with Mulesoft DataWeave to create reusable transformations using functions, variables, and operators
  • Enterprise system integration background with Web Services and ETL
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices
  • Can prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within timelines
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Have a passion for quality and writing clean code that scales and performs well
  • Professional track record of superb interpersonal and communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology and DevOps (CI/CD)
  • Experience with Salesforce and other cloud platform integration
  • Experience with object-oriented development tools such as Java, C#/.Net
  • Mulesoft Certifications (Mulesoft Certified Platform Architect, MCD Developer)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work occasional overtime
